View Tab Commands - Plot Window

The View tab contains common commands to change the zoom, redraw, display managers, or arrange windows.

 

Fit Page

Shows the full page on screen

Fit to Window

Scales the screen so that all objects are visible

Zoom Selected

Zoom so the selected object fills the plot window

Realtime

Zoom in and out by clicking and dragging with the mouse

Actual Size

Zooms so objects are approximately the actual size

Full Screen

Turns off the display of ribbon and managers so the plot window fills the entire screen

Zooms out

Rectangle

Zooms with a rectangle

Pan

Pans across the plot window

Redraw

Refreshes the image on screen

Auto Redraw

Check or uncheck to turn automatic redraw on and off

Hyperlink

View hyperlinks by hovering the cursor over boundary objects

Rulers

Show or hide rulers

Drawing Grid

Show or hide the drawing grid

Status Bar

Shows or hides the status bar

Show Objects

Select object types to show or hide in the Plot Window

Object Manager

Check or uncheck to show or hide the Object Manager

Inset Manager

Check or uncheck to show or hide the Inset Manager

Data Manager

Check or uncheck to show or hide the Data Manager

Property Manager

Check or uncheck to show or hide the Property Manager

Coordinates Manager

Check or uncheck to show or hide the Coordinate Manager

Show/Hide All

Shows or hides all five managers

New Window

Opens a duplicate window of the active document

Cascade

Arranges the windows so they overlap

Tile Horizontal

Arranges windows horizontally so there are no overlapping tiles

Tile Vertical

Arranges windows vertically so there are no overlapping tiles

Arrange Icons

Arranges icons at the bottom of the application window

Reset Windows

Resets manager display to the default layout
